Read Across America Week

Students and staff at Howe celebrated Read Across America Week February 29- March 4. Each day was themed with a different Dr. Seuss book. Monday was The Cat in the Hat day and everyone was welcome to wear a hat to school. Tuesday the students and staff celebrated The Lorax with mustache making. Wednesday everyone got cozy with a good book in their pajamas and The Cat in the Hat visited Howe. Thursday was Fox in Sox day and students and staff sported their crazy mismatched socks. On Friday we celebrated the book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and students wrote poetry while eating Goldfish crackers. Check out all the action on our Flickr page.
