Des Moines Parks and Recreation and Des Moines Public Schools are partnering to offer a youth basketball league for the 2014-2015 season. The program is for students in grades 1st through 7th. Howe Elementary School students celebrated their last day of school with water relays. Students who did well on the Iowa Assessments were able to dump a bucket of water on the principal or their favorite teacher. What a great way to end the year!
